**HOW TO COOK RICE ON A CAMP STOVE**

serves 1+
Ingredients:
1 measure of basmati rice per person.
Twice as much water as rice

Directions:
Rinse your rice really well either under cold running water or in the pan with several changes of water to remove the starch from the grains.

Put the clean rice back in the pan with the double measure of cold water.

Put on a tight fitting lid and bring to a boil quickly. Once boiling, stir, replace the lid, ensure it’s back up to a boil, then turn off the heat and leave for 20 minutes for it to cook in its own steam.
DO NOT OPEN THE LID TO CHECK ON IT!
And that’s it! A dead easy, low energy method of cooking camp stove rice 😊

Until next time, happy camping!
